Lucas TV is a animated television series created by James R. for The James Channel. It first premiered on The James Channel on June 5, 1999 and ended on August 3, 2017.

James first conceived the series in 1995 while working on The Zachary Show's What a Cartoon! pilot. He wanted to make another show based off of his childhood, he first pitched Lucas TV to Nickelodeon for two years, but it was declined in December 1998, so he decided to pitch it to The James Channel since at the time they were not that many shows on the network. and it made its TV debut on June 5, 1999.

Lucas TV is the second longest running animated series on The James Channel, behind The Zachary Show.

The Lucas TV Movie, a film adaptation of the series was released on November 23, 2007.
